A Vintage, Used, or New Veil?
By Bobette Kyle-Wagner | February 14, 2008
The veil is an intriguing piece of your wedding ensemble. The choices behind that innocent piece of fluff are nearly endless. One way to narrow down the choices is to decide on the veil type: New, used, vintage (i.e. old), or do-it-yourself? Price is another narrowing factor. Costs range from around $15.00 if you do it yourself or shop auctions up to thousands of dollars for a new or vintage veil with real jewels. Some sources to consider:
- New and/or high-end veils: Shop at your local bridal stores and online veil shops.
- Used and/or vintage wedding veils: Search eBay or find online specialty stores.
- Do it yourself: Purchase tulle and find veil-making instructions online.
- Cheap wedding veils: Keep an eye on auctions and sales.
