Bridal Tiaras — Gold or silver? Pearls or crystals?

By Bobette Kyle-Wagner | February 25, 2008

Bridal TiaraThe color and material from which your tiara is made can make or break your look. They are the difference between a merely lovely and absolutely stunning bride. In general, if your gown or hair has warm undertones, then choose a tiara with warm tones. The same is true for cool undertones. Stones that pick up surrounding colors or have a sparkly, multicolor appearance work well with both cool and warm tones. The clear crystal, rhinestone, and Swarovski tiara all fall into this category. Ivory-colored pearls accent ivory dresses and warm hair tones (red, auburn, rich browns and golden blondes), while white pearls go with white gowns and cool hair tones (platinum blonde and darker brunettes). Pearls also work well mixed with crystals or rhinestones. For more, visit the MyOnlineWeddingHelp.com bridal tiaras page:
