Veil Lengths - Birdcage to Cathedral
By Bobette Kyle-Wagner | January 25, 2008
To the uninitiated, choosing a veil seems rather straightforward. We soon learn, however, that the veil can be one of the hardest decisions. Short or long? How short? How long? How many tiers? What shape? Blusher or not? Edging or not? If so, what kind? What color? Embellishments? Shimmer? The choices seem endless.
Veil length is one of the most important factors in how a veil looks, so it’s best to begin there. In general, lengths range from the very short birdcage, which falls to your nose, to the cathedral (or royal) length, which trails behind as you walk down the aisle. Take a look at our veil lengths section for a detailed explanation of each.
We at MyOnlineWeddingHelp.com also sell an informational ebook called How to Choose the Veil and Headpiece that will Look Stunning on YOU! that takes the mystery out of veil and headpiece choices.
