Cheap Designer Wedding Dresses

We were momentarily excited today. I found Amarette’s currently favorite wedding gown for 85% off retail!! We were both ready to take the plunge. A closer look, however, revealed that we wouldn’t be purchasing the actual dress. Instead, someone in China would create a knock-off using photos. The site had a forums section, and I found many people highly dissatisfied with their gowns. To be fair, a few were ecstatic with the value. The majority, however, did not realize the workmanship and materials would be far inferior to the original gown. Plus, the detailing would be different. I guess the lesson here is if it’s too good to be true, it probably is. I think we’ve decided to stay away from reproductions and continue to monitor auctions, private listings, sales, clearances, and other discounts.
