After five years (and the engagement ring in Steve’s sister’s safe for six months) my daughter, Amarette, and her boyfriend, Steve, are officially engaged. This is the ring (that’s Steve in the background) and the icy tree he proposed under. According to Amarette he had been covertly monitoring the weather reports, waiting for the right climate. She thought he was waiting for snow, but it was ice, so the tree would be all sparkly (Amarette LOVES sparkly)!
