If you are looking to add a food-related twist to your wedding reception, consider finger food presentation. Go beyond plattered, tooth-picked tidbits. Bryan Young (owner of Bryan Young Catering Plus in Richmond Heights, Missouri), suggests serving hors d’oeuvres in barware (such as martini and shot glasses), on bamboo picks, or with edible spoons. Passed drinks are also a trend. Some couples serve a currently popular martini — such as appletinis, pomogranate, or other flavored varieties. Others match drinks to the culinary theme.
