Jewelry as Wedding Party Gifts
Jewelry makes the perfect gift for everyone in the wedding party. A gift of jewelry is a time-honored tradition and shows that you appreciate the roles your bridesmaids play in your life. It also saves those in your wedding party the trouble of finding jewelry to coordinate with your wedding theme. Bridesmaid Gift JewelryA gift of a necklace, pair of earrings, or matched set not only saves the bridal party the time and expense of purchasing what they will wear to the wedding, it also ensures that you choose exactly what you want. Be sure to present your bridesmaids with their jewelry, or tell them not to buy their own, far enough ahead of time so that they are prepared. You may give your gifts any time after you've selected the bridesmaids’ dresses. Many brides, however, find the rehearsal dinner a perfect time to present the bridesmaids’ gifts. Jewelry for your bridesmaids does not have to perfectly match yours. As the bride, you may wear white pearls, for example, while your attendants wear pearls in a similar design, but colored to complement their dresses. If your maid or matron of honor has been especially helpful, you may want to give her an additional piece, such as a more expensive pair of earrings, to go with her bridesmaid’s necklace or a slightly more elaborate jewelry. This not only serves as a special gift, but also distinguishes her from the other bridesmaids. While women are the primary focus when it comes to jewelry, there are opportunities to bejewel the men as well, which will unify the wedding party look even more. Cufflinks, shirt studs, tie tacks, ascot pins, and nose or ear studs [links to tie tacks, cufflinks, ascot pins, nose studs can all be chosen to match the wedding theme. If the bridesmaids are wearing a certain type of jewelry, try matching the groomsmen's jewels or pearls with the bridesmaids with whom they will be walking down the aisle. As with bridesmaid jewelry, groomsman jewelry makes a wonderful gift. Flower girl and junior bridesmaid gift jewelry >>
