Mexican Wedding Dresses
Wedding gowns that reflect a Mexican heritage are often white with ethnic detailing or lace, but can also be brightly colored dresses. If the bride descends from one of the southern Mexican states she may also sport a brightly colored ceremonial Huipil. The bride in a Mexican wedding may also choose to wear a mantilla (a single tier lace-edged veil originating in Spain). As with much cultural wedding attire, the specifics are up to the bride and groom.
