Size 18 Wedding Dresses

Did you know that wedding dresses tend to run small? A size 14 in street clothes, for example, may translate into a size 18 or 20 wedding dress. Also, some designers offer both a size 18 and 18W, with the plus-size "W" dress a bit larger and proportioned with more room in the waist and hips. Each designer is a little different, so check your measurements against the designer's sizing chart to make sure you order a large enough gown. You can find the size chart for nearly every designer on the House of Brides site (Click here, then look under "Tailor's Advice" near the bottom of the far left column).
