These crowns were inspired by the popular old English rhyme, Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe, which has instructed generations of brides on what to carry with them on their wedding day. The color blue has long been associated with purity and fidelity. These crowns are made with a brocade fabric of royal blue, which is embroidered with a pattern of leaves and flowers in whitesilver and royal blue thread. The silver thread used on the leaves has a shine to it, which contrasts beautifully against the royal blue fabric. The fabric was sewn over a wooden frame, and the inside of the crowns is lined with a royal blueandsilver ribbon. The crowns are tied together with a matte silver satin ribbon. They are readytoship, and will arrive in a presentation box.
