Wedding Gown Trends: The Sparkly Belt

Fashion-conscious belts have been popular for awhile now, so it only makes sense that the trend spread into wedding attire. The last couple of seasons has seen more belts modeled with the latest and traditional dress styles, giving an ensemble a modern look.

Now that Kate Middleton has worn a bejeweled belted reception dress (or perhaps had it sewn into the dress, creating a belt-like look). Either way, expect the trend to be fueled! Adorned with beads, crystals, or embroidery, the bridal (or bridesmaid) belt can either blend in with the dress or contrast it, depending on what effect one wants to achieve.
