Wedding Gifts and Supplies on a Budget

Whether you are a bride-to-be, parent, or guest, today’s tough economic news is likely to have you worried — gas prices over $4.00 a gallon and climbing, mortgage industry gloom and doom, increasing unemployment, and generally higher prices. This may not be the best time to splurge on an expensive wedding or gift. The good news is that not all wedding items must be purchased at expensive specialty or department stores. Mainstream retailers such as Kohls or Target, for example, not only have bridal registries and carry items appropriate for gift-giving, but carry some wedding supplies as well. As an added bonus, most merchandise is available to purchase online.
