Planning a DIY wedding can be intimidating. You not only have to get everything done by The Big Day, but you have to be able to pay for it as well. All this while keeping your dream intact.
There’s good news–it is possible. Planning, in general, has been part of my life’s work for over 20 years.
In my days as an employee, I held several positions in charge of all areas of marketing planning and implementation. I learned that breaking planning into chunks and staying organized help immensely.
When it comes to planning your wedding, that means using a complete wedding checklist.
Add in the budget aspect, and you may be feeling overwhelmed. But it will be OK, I promise. Your budgeting keys are:
- knowing where you stand as you go about committing to services and buying products,
- avoiding unforeseen costs by using a wedding budget calculator.
- following the five Manage Your Wedding Budget tips.
I’ve filled My Online Wedding Help with tips, tutorials, videos, and products. These will help guide you through the wedding planning path; deciding upon and doing DIY projects;
managing the money; and choosing and buying your wedding items.

About Me
I am Bobette Kyle, owner and publisher of MyOnlineWeddingHelp.com.
My intrigue with digitally planning a wedding started in 2006. My husband and I married in Las Vegas while friends and family watched a live stream.
The Internet was new technology at the time, and it intrigued me. I combined this with years of career experience in planning, coordination, and budgeting. And My Online Wedding Help was born!
On the personal side, I live in Saint Louis, Missouri, with my husband, Tim, and our cat Shadow. We have one daughter and are grandparents to the three most adorable grandboys ever.
