(Tips are from the Dream Wedding on a Dime; 7 Secrets for the Budget-Savvy Bride ebook, which contains 300+ tips and ideas for saving on your wedding.)
Consider buying digital photos and/or raw video footage from your wedding. In the long run it can be most cost effective to buy your wedding images on a CD and the raw video footage file. (As of this writing, some will sell that way; others will not, so shop around before choosing.) This allows you to opt out of social media and print or order photos as your finances allow.
You may want to give special considerations to editing the photos and video, however, as both require some know-how. If you never edited photos or videos yourself, expect to go through some tutorials and learning curves. If doing it yourself is completely out of the question, you may hire a student for editing video or pictures.
